Ginger Exchange and Return Policy

Ginger places customer satisfaction as its top priority and thoroughly records the packaging and shipping process of all orders to prevent fraud and block the introduction of counterfeit products. If the video stored at the time of shipment does not match the inspection results during the return/exchange process, exchange or return is not possible.

 

1. When exchange and refund are possible

- You can apply for an exchange or refund within **14 days** after receiving the product.
- Items must be in unused condition, with original packaging (brand box, dust cover, etc.) and all brand and product labels/tags/instructions attached.

2. When exchange and refund are not possible

- When the exchange/refund period (14 days) has elapsed
- If the returned product is not collected due to reasons attributable to the customer after requesting an exchange/refund, or if delivery is canceled due to the circumstances of the recipient
- If the original packaging of the product is damaged (e.g. if the brand box is damaged, return is not possible)
- Shoes must be in new condition and cannot be exchanged or refunded if there is damage to the sole.
- Swimwear must keep the sanitary liner attached.
- If purchase details cannot be confirmed
- Cosmetics, underwear, and earrings cannot be returned due to status reasons.
- If the product is contaminated (including contamination, traces of use, perfume or other residue)

 

3. Return Process

Ginger provides an online return application service for customer convenience.

- You can request a return through the **"My Account" → "Order History"** section on the Ginger official website.

Once a return request is received, pickup will be scheduled, and after the returned product arrives at the Ginger Logistics Center, it will go through an inspection process and a refund or exchange will be processed.

 

 

*Examples when exchange and refund are not possible*

1. Products made using cowhide leather and manual processes may have fine scratches/wrinkles/dents, etc. In the case of glossy products, these parts may appear somewhat more clearly than matte products due to the nature of the material.  This is an unavoidable part due to the nature of the material that can occur even when purchasing through other channels such as department stores, offline stores, and overseas boutiques. Since it is not a fundamental defect of the product, it cannot be a reason for exchange or return, so please keep this in mind when purchasing.

2. During the shipping and distribution process, damage or contamination of components such as boxes/dust bags may occur. These components are intended to protect the product, and there is no problem with the product itself, so please keep this in mind when purchasing.

3. Due to the nature of the zipper, it may be stiff during initial use, but it becomes softer over the period of actual use. Since this is not a fundamental defect of the product, it cannot be a reason for exchange or return, so please note this before purchasing.

4. The metal logo part is released without a protective film from the brand launch stage, so it is a material that is vulnerable to scratches. Please note that slight scratches or scratches may occur when purchasing.

5. Minor bonding contamination and fine scratches may occur during the production process. Please note this before purchasing as this is not a product defect or defect due to individual variation due to production deadline.

6. In the case of loafer and shoe outsole products shipped with Hongchang (leather sole), minor scratches may occur during shipping and distribution. Since this is not a product defect or original defect, it is not a reason for exchange or refund after service, so please note it before purchasing.

7. Due to the nature of the rubber material, scratches or dust of the same color as the image may occur due to friction between products not only during the manufacturing process but also during simple transportation and storage. This is an unavoidable part due to the nature of the product material and cannot be a reason for exchange or refund, so please keep this in mind when purchasing.

8. Due to the nature of the material, the inner woven fabric may be visible on the outside. Please keep this in mind when purchasing.
